On August 19th, our shrimp dumplings were severely contaminated, making me sick. Instead of offering a waiver, the staff simply cancelled the item and demanded a cash discount, rather than a genuine offset. They then even verbally abused us for not leaving a tip. After unsuccessful call for following up, we will be filing a complaint with the MAPAQ and are also considering filing a complaint with the CRA.
Le 19 août, nos raviolis aux crevettes ont été gravement contaminés, ce qui m'a rendu malade. Au lieu de proposer une dérogation, le personnel a simplement annulé le plat et exigé une remise en espèces, plutôt qu'une compensation réelle. Ils nous ont même insultés verbalement pour ne pas avoir laissé de pourboire. Après avoir appelé pour un suivi, mais en vain, nous allons déposer une plainte auprès du MAPAQ et envisageons également de déposer une plainte auprès de l'ARC.

We were wary ordering from Ruby Rouge for take out. Our last two experiences were less than optimal. The first order was lost when we arrived to pick it up and we were ignored at the counter for over 15 minutes when we arrived in favour of delivery drivers. Given this experience we said if you can't be beat them, join them so we used Uber Eats and only half of our order was delivered. We had to drive to the restaurant to retrieve the other half.
Betting against the odds, we love the food here so we tried again and we had no issues. Pleasantly surprised by getting "normal" service.
